Palm Springs

I would like to thank my cousin, Eric, and his new wife, Allison, for picking the location of Palm Springs to get married last weekend.  It was very considerate of you to think of your friends and family in such a way.  What a fun weekend!  And, it was made special since my sister, Leah, flew in from Australia to attend the festivities also.

I learned my lesson from leaving Maeve behind from my previous experience and gave her much more notice this time around, and it totally worked.  She was initially upset about the thought of me going somewhere without her, but as she had time to think about it, and that her Grandma and Grandpa would be watching her and doing fun things with her, she was totally fine about it.  It made my weekend that much more fun since I could wipe the guilt of leaving her behind away...  Thanks Dad and Lynn!

Todd and Stacy, and I stayed at the Riveria, and it was super fun.  Our bar bill was rather hefty the first day, but it just seemed rude not to order another round of cocktails when the nice server kept coming by.  The weather was fantastic for lounging poolside and sipping cool beverages -- it was in the 90's.  It was hot enough that Todd even got in the pool -- I wish I took a picture of that since its such a rare sighting.  Ha.

Me and Stac - happy campers.

Leah and I...

The people watching was fantastic, I have to say...

Todd, Stacy and I...

Coming back home after a night out...

The wedding site was very beautiful...

Pathetically, this is the best picture I have of the bride and groom...

They clean up pretty well...

Our dinner and dancing was overlooking Palm Springs.

Leah and I catching up with Grandma

The coolest table at the wedding, of course...

I love that Todd is trying to hide his beer...

So pretty, and such a fun trip....

Rounding out the weekend with a celebratory brunch.

Congratulations Eric and Allison!
