Part 1 - Arizona

Maeve and I look forward to our annual trip to Arizona to visit Gran and Pop, and the rest of the cactus club, every spring.  Maeve had been counting down the sleeps for months, it seemed, and finally the day came and our spring holidays began....

We came prepared for St Patty's day, and Maeve wore her shamrock headband all through the airport and all throughout the flight.  She loves her theme holidays...

Its a good thing we were prepared, as we found ourselves in the annual St Patty's day parade in the retirement park...  We decorated my Grandma's golf cart, became Irish, and proceeded to win first place.  Of course we did :-)

We had 4 generations on our 'float', but I think it was the youngest one that sealed the deal.  Taryn is sad that Kate got the only stand by ticket on Sunday and missed out on the festivities...

The fish found herself back in the pool multiple times a day...

Her latest fixation in the water are handstands...

...and squirting people with noodles.  Kate is getting her revenge here.  Ha

Thankfully I looked inside Maeve's life jacket before putting it on her.... and found this friend.

Taryn eventually found a free seat on the plane and her intake of Vitamin D finally started.  We decided to head to the waterslides.  The air was warm, but the water was cold.... But, we rallied and had fun, because waterslides are fun. :-)

Sunny skies...

Maeve was thrilled to have slides her size...

And, on the way home, Kate was thrilled to be everyone's pillow...

Maeve and Taryn checking out the sunset...

The sunsets are always so pretty....

And, out come the shamrock headband again...

Morning bubbles...

Spring Training!

I'm pretty sure that eating all the snacks was Maeve's favorite part of the game.

'Take a picture of my tongue mom so I can see how pink it is'....

Uncle Reg joined us for the game too :-)

Cousins!

Thanks Dan for hooking us up at the game... Maeve mostly thanks you for the lollipop you gave her.

Evening rides in the park... The retiree's had to watch out for the teenage drivers.

Sleeping beauty with her beanie boos...

All and all it was a great week and we enjoyed every minute of it... it set us up perfectly for Part 2 of our Spring holiday.  Thanks Mom and Jamie for everything....  Maeve should start asking soon how many sleeps until we get to go back to Arizona.  Ha.
