A Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

I have been watching the weather and trying to pick the best time to hit up the pumpkin patch, but rain has been in the forecast.... rain is a part of life in the pacific northwest, no doubt, but I was hoping for some decent weather so we could partake in some of the other fun things at the pumpkin patch.  When the skies proved to be sunny yesterday morning, unexpectantly, Maeve and I jumped in the car and headed to the farm.  It was super fun and a perfect little outing.  This farm was a perfect choice... it had a lot of fun things for Maeve to do.

The farm had quite a few animals, of course... so we were checking out the donkey here.

Maeve even managed a horse ride...  ha.

The pen of corn was a big hit...

There were duck races...

Gigantic cookies to eat...

Tractors to climb on...

Scarecrows to discover...

...and imitate.

Wheelbarrows to push...

And then we found our perfect pumpkins.  One for Maeve, one for mommy, and a family pumpkin.
