11th Annual Canadian Thanksgiving...

I am well aware that Canadian Thanksgiving officially happened last weekend, but due to the Portland half marathon, the date was pushed back a week, and no one seemed to mind.

The day started off strong with breakfast of pumpkin waffles at Amber and Chris's house.  SO GOOD. Yum.  After we wreaked enough havoc over there, we moved onto Brent and Amy's.  I bring the turkey and stuffing, so I went straight to work... it truly is exhausting being in charge of the turkey (shhhh.... don't tell).  Amy made pumpkin pies, which she grew in her own garden (I think she deserves some sort of medal... I mean, that's going above and beyond).  We spent the rest of the day hanging out and lounging around... although, as Amy and I recalled several times this afternoon, the lounging used to be a bit more relaxing pre-kids.  Nevertheless, it was fun and cozy.

It is always a fun evening and we all have it down to a science.  Everyone comes with side dish/appetizer/or dessert in hand.  Super easy for all.  Good food and fun friends....  Happy Belated Canadian Thanksgiving, everyone...
