So... We Went to Arizona

It was a great 5 days of family, fun, warmth, and sunshine. We went down to visit my mom and Jamie, and timed it with spring break so that a few of my cousins could come out with their kids. Once the ball started rolling, it turned into a full fledged family reunion. We packed in a lot fun, laughter, and calories, with less sleep than normal. Maeve (and me too, for that matter) got anything and everything she wanted -- she is a huge fan of being on holidays. Me too. It was great fun to see everyone again and a lot of people were able to meet Maeve for the first time. We also had some really fun cousin moments. I hope we can repeat such a trip next year.

Here are just a "few" photos of our trip:

A late night plane ride. Designed so that Maeve would sleep for most of it... or the last 1/3 as it turned out. (She likes to wear her 'lovie' as a hat sometimes, in case you were wondering...)

I like to make funny faces...

Mornings vegging out on the front porch... Todd, Taryn, and Kate were there for a portion of our visit too, so that was fun.

The golf cart is always a complete hit. Here we were heading for one of our many pool sessions...

"Yay! I love the pool"

Sadie and Kate..

Maeve had an absolute blast hanging with all the kid cousins.

The older kids were SO good with the younger kids. Here they all were hanging out at the 'kid table'.

Flat Stanley came on the trip with us too...

Aaron having his morning coffee...

While some others of us enjoyed our mimosa's...

Eric entertaining the girls...

Bryce chilling poolside...

As was Kate...

Pool, sunshine, grapes... does life get any better?

Aaron providing pool fun...

Maeve and Taryn...

Bryce and Maeve...

Cousin shots all over the place -- this is Ashley and me...

Maeve was introduced to many playground games during the trip. Duck Duck Goose was a big hit... She was SO SO happy to be included in all the games.

This was probably not such a wise decision...

Breakfast in Pop and Gran's kitchen...

Creative hour...

Park time snuggle... Maeve didn't clock as many sleep hours as usual during our trip, but she managed to pull it together most of the time...

There was plenty of laughing...

There was a Easter egg hunt 'trial run' last weekend. It was a success...

Jenni, Grandma, and me...

We even went to a Mariner Spring Training game. Thank you Dan for the sweet seats.

Allison, Eric, Robbie, and Larry... bringing good luck to the Mariners.

And, this one here spent most of her time eating, scamming food off of others, and trying to get Dan's attention in the radio booth... but had fun nevertheless.

So fun. We can't wait to repeat it next year.
