A step stool = containment. There was no little person running around with a dripping paint brush while I chased behind her. There were no dashes to the couch to make handprints by the little one today. The step stool was a happy little discovery. Its the little things in life, right? Now, let's see how long this slows her down in the future....

I love the ringlets and the Bantu knots. B's hair texture is different than Maeve's, but here's our routine:
1-wash w/gentle detoxifying shampoo (Aveda)
2-deep condition (Aveda dry remedy, Blended Beauty Herbal Reconditioner, or Hello Hydration with lots of coconut oil). Finger detangle and shower cap over the top.
3-blot dry, put in heavy leave in (Blended Beauty Butter Me Up)
3.5-put in a bit of detangler and use fingers, then detangling comb to detangle
4-put in large ponies with bands at base and ends (helps stretch, keep moisture in, and keep detangled)
5-later or next day put in style--currently that's puffs or Bantu knots. As her hair gets longer, it gets way too dry completely free.
6-we leave in simple styles for about 1.5 weeks and then protective, professional style (cornrows, twists) for about 2.5 weeks.

Sorry about the lengthy post. I'm home sick, B's still sleeping...:)
