Katie & Joe... hitched today! Whaoo Hooo... Yay them! I'm so happy for them. I'm also so happy for them that the weather behaved, sort of. The weather has been schizophrenic recently and it managed to be 'mostly nice' this afternoon... But, as Katie has said... it doesn't matter because at the end of the day they will still be married. And, they are. It was a beautiful ceremony and a great reception. Its always good to come together for a fantastic reason with great friends. I made a decision late in the week to make alternative plans for Maeve -- since it was an outdoor (under the tent) wedding and rain in the horizon... taking a toddler who is yet to walk on her own sounded not so appealing. She had a much better day with the Wilson's and I had a much better time not holding a squirmy girl all afternoon. Win win.

Off to the farm for the wedding...

Some of the gang...

Katie was so beautiful!

Fun times... Congratulations Katie and Joe!

If you see her before I do, would you please give Katie and her groom "Best Wishes & Love" from the Gerstenbergers? She will always be "Cribbage Katie" to me. Did you get to meet her grandma who "has a wrench in the garage, and is not afraid to use it?" That is one of my favorite memories from the Hem-Onc ward.
Thanks for sharing these photos, and those of Maeve's walking, standing, artwork and zoo days. SO much fun!
